RESPCAPE combines the two words Escape and Restore. RESCAPE is a gift to encourage those who have dedicated their careers to addressing the most pressing social and environmental issues that our society is facing.

Social service workers, community organizers, and environmental activists are in high demand. They play a key role in responding to unprecedented events such as the COVID-19 pandemic by offering support and services that meet the basic needs of the most vulnerable members of our society. The unpredictable and consuming work environment in which they operate leads to a workplace that encourages social workers to disregard their own needs, including their physical and mental well-being.

What would happen if most of our social and environmental warrios decided to quit? There will be close to no hope for a better future.
